Rommel Oates is a value ‘creationist’ who currently serves as Chairman and CEO for Refinery Calculator Inc. (a global refining operations intelligence and technology software service company) and Oates Energy Solutions LLC. (a US based all things energy, hydrogen, refining, chemicals and industrial gases services company).
He has been spearheading the Global Energy Transition and decarbonizing energy platforms for over 22 years and has authored 16+ patents in the area of hydrogen storage technology. He is adept at starting up and then scaling up technology centered businesses and improving both profitability and growth. His broad-based expertise includes strategic planning, corporate finance, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, continuous improvement, product development, procurement, sales, M&A valuation and integration, fiduciary oversight and ESG governance. He is dedicated to building relationships and providing support to stakeholders, senior executive teams and boards of directors.
Rommel's knowledge regarding hydrogen, energy, refining and chemicals is both broad and deep. He is on the forefront of helping the world transition to a hydrogen based economy.
