Equipment packages for Aberdeen Hydrogen Hub Project awarded by Hydrasun

Three contracts for major equipment packages for the bp Aberdeen Hydrogen Hub project, have been awarded by Hydrasun.
This facility is a scalable green hydrogen production, storage, and distribution facility which runs on renewable energy. It is due to be delivered by bp and Aberdeen City Council who will be operating through a joint venture.
Hydrasun submitted a bid that focused on designing and integrating the hydrogen refueling station and associated infrastructure. Once it was deemed successful, the contracts were awarded to, Nel Hydrogen, Maximator, and Chesterfield Specialist Cylinders. Nel Hydrogen received the electrolyzer package, Maximator was awarded the compression package and Chesterfield Specialist Cylinders was provided with the storage package.
All three of these equipment packages will play a significant part when it comes to the efficient production, storage, and distribution of hydrogen.
