Ben Gurtler joined ION Clean Energy as Chief Operating Officer in May 2024, overseeing all aspects of project execution, product and strategic partnerships as ION continues to deploy its technology at commercial scale. Prior to joining ION, Ben was most recently Commercial Director of Carbon Capture for Koch Engineered Solutions, where he spent 16 years in various roles gaining valuable experience in all aspects of post combustion carbon capture. While not working to capture CO2 emissions, Ben and his wife Tracie enjoy watching their three daughters excel on the softball field.
