Brad Edgar serves as the Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Red Fox Resources - a Hensel Recycling Group Company. Dr. Brad Edgar is an accomplished inventor, entrepreneur, and advisor with a proven track record of founding, managing, and investing in innovative companies focused on clean energy, emissions control, and sustainability. With deep technical expertise and a strong commercial orientation, Brad has helped drive market transformation across multiple sectors, from advanced powertrains and renewable fuels to precious metals recovery and recycling. A recognized authority in internal combustion engines, fuels, emissions technologies, and sustainability, Brad has authored numerous technical papers and presentations and is a frequent speaker, panelist, and expert witness. He holds 11 U.S. patents and has played a leading role in the development and commercialization of groundbreaking technologies that have shaped emissions policy and practice in California and beyond. Brad’s contributions have been widely recognized, including receiving the Haagen-Smit Clean Air Award from the California Air Resources Board—one of the most prestigious honors in environmental technology. In addition to his entrepreneurial and technical work, Brad has served on the boards of private companies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations, bringing strategic insight and hands-on experience to innovation, governance, and organizational growth. Brad earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and lives and works in Oakland, California.
