Dayne Detweiler is the Solution Development Lead focusing on Lurgi Technologies in the Americas at Air Liquide Engineering and Construction in Houston. He started his professional career at Air Liquide in 2015 as a Plant Engineer, rotating between different industrial gas plants in the US. Following, he took on the position as Project Engineer supporting safety, reliability, and efficiency upgrades to existing plants on the Gulf Coast. In 2019, he then moved to process engineering to focus on HyCO technologies, supporting proposal development as well as commissioning and start up of large scale MeOH and Syngas plants. In his current position as Solution Development Lead, he leads the conceptual and technical developments of Steam Methane Reformers (SMR), Autothermal Reformers (ATR) and Partial Oxidation (POX) technologies for projects with a focus on low carbon hydrogen. Dayne is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
