Dayo Akindipe
Research Scientist - Subsurface Energy Systems,
National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)
Dayo Akindipe is a research scientist leading projects on techno-economic modeling and analysis of geothermal energy and subsurface storage systems. His research and professional interests lie within the energy, environment, and sustainability nexus. Before joining NREL, he spearheaded cutting-edge pore-scale research on coupled hydrodynamic-chemical processes that influence the flow and transport of CO2 during storage in sedimentary reservoirs. Prior to that, he worked in the energy industry on projects to reduce carbon emissions on offshore production platforms.
