Gernot Hacker is the Department Manager for H2 & Fuel Cell Testing Technologies at AVL. Since joining AVL in 2005 after studying automotive engineering, he has specialized in testing instrumentation and propulsion system test solutions across multiple management roles. From 2012 to 2018, Gernot worked in the USA, expanding AVL’s electric propulsion system testing business. Now based at AVL’s headquarters in Graz, Austria, he focuses on fuel cell technology and testing solutions for automotive, marine, rail, and aviation applications.
