Klaus is currently leading Novonesis’ activities within Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), where they are directly engaging in the urgent task to avoid global warming and meet the targets of the Paris Agreement. Novonesis is a newly established company through the merger between Novozymes and Chr. Hansen – Novonesis exists to better the world with biology . His previous job roles include business development within biological solutions for Water and Waste Water in the legacy Novozymes company. From 2017-2020 he expanded his commercial experience adding product management, launch leadership, license negotiations and pricing & margin strategy as global product manager at the Legacy Chr. Hansen. Klaus started his career as a dedicated scientist in the application space where technologies need to be put into action. His many years of experience in this space between R&D and the market gave him a keen eye for business opportunities where both the business potential and the technology potential match even in unexpected areas.
