Mack Hopen is the Commercialization Manager at Modern Hydrogen where he’s responsible for business development, go-to-market strategy, marketing, sales, and technoeconomics, and supports government affairs, technology roadmap development, communications, corporate development, and public affairs. He spent his early career designing and manufacturing systems and components for defense and aerospace, robotics, telecommunications, space, and energy customers. Mack Hopen is an engineer, industrialist, and lover of all things hardware. He received his B.S in Materials Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, his MBA from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, and has advised companies ranging from startups to energy utilities in his time at Techstars, West Monroe Partners, and the Washington Clean Energy Testbeds.
