Mr. Mathias Binders professional career spans over 20 years in the laser welding equipment for the automotive industry. After a couple of years working for a vacuum drying equipment manufacturer he I joined Soudronic, which has been renamed into Soutec and become part of the Austrian Andritz Group. Working mainly for the Tailored Blank Business. From 2008 to 2011 working in the US as General Manager of the North American operations and was stationed in Michigan.
Since 2011, working out of Soutecs main office in Switzerland as Global Head of Engineering and product management. Introduced a number of all new machine and automation concepts and is involved in Soutecs Bipolar Plate welder development now since a couple of years.
Mr. Binder holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from the Zurich University of applied sciences.
