Tanguy has been working for FEV Consulting for 3 years now, starting in Bilbao, Spain, and based now in their Chicago office. He has been involved in multiple projects on hydrogen development from production to the distribution for transportation sector. On the infrastructure side, Tanguy has worked for different global energy companies, forecasting future hydrogen demand for various sectors. This led him to assess the hydrogen needs for the production of sustainable aviation fuels towards 2050, looking into the technologies and economics of this industry. He also has in-depth knowledge of the distribution value chain, from transport (road, pipeline) to utilization in different industries, such as refueling stations layouts, technologies and economics. In the aviation industry, Tanguy was involved in projects investigating the utilization of hydrogen propulsion systems for aerospace suppliers. He assessed the relevance of various propulsion systems (e.g., H2 fuel cell, H2 turbine) for specific aircrafts with different body types and travel ranges. Tanguy collaborated with the FEV Aerospace entity, led by Christian Eschmann, which, among other topics, works on the development of H2 fuel cell systems for major aerospace suppliers and manufacturers.
