Werner Volk has been with OPTIMA life science since 2010 and works there as Business Development Manager.
He graduated in mechanical engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Konstanz in 1994.
From 1994 to 1998, he worked as a mechanical design engineer at ebm-Papst in fan development.
He then moved to the packaging machine industry, where he first worked for Kugler from 1998 to 2002 as a team leader for the mechanical design of capping machines and in project engineering.
From 2002 to 2010 he worked for Harro Höfliger as a technical sales manager with the focus on the UK and later the US market.
In 2010 he joined Optima life science and held positions in product management, project engineering and business development. For the past 7 years, he has been working on the topic of fuel cells and electrolyzers.
From 2016 to 2019, he completed a part-time MBA-program.
