Zach Jones is the co-founder and CEO of Graphitic Energy (formerly C-Zero), a California-based company that has developed a process for producing low-cost, zero-emission “turquoise” hydrogen from natural gas. The company’s technology can be used to decarbonize a wide array of industries including electrical generation, process heating, and the production of commodity hydrogen for fuel cell vehicles, ammonia synthesis and refining processes. Prior to his current role, Mr. Jones worked for a private equity firm where he led investments in the renewable energy, maritime transportation and commercial real estate sectors. He holds a BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
